Puppy Training Classes

Puppy Training Classes are for puppies of about 12 weeks of age. As with our other classes, the puppy class format has changed too. If your puppy is around 5 months or more, then you need the start-up classes.

Our puppy classes now focus simply on training and socialisation -

The pre-class education session 1 week before the classes is where you get all your questions anwered, we explain the training process and give you advice on how to stop : biting, chewing, stealing, jumping, how to play - politely with you and each other - and house training.

Then the training course covers simply the basics, and then allows the puppies time to socialise. It's not quite a puppy party, but we try out best. It's all about having fun and learning how to motivate your puppy to do what you want them to do, but also about giving them the confidence to grow into a happy, polite dog.

(Please note that only safe off lead play is allowed)

The puppy training classes are kept small - to about 6 dogs - The small group tends help the puppies to cope with learning, and also allows us to focus on any particular issues which the group have at amy particular time.

It's all about fun too - we want your puppy to have fun with you - so ourt methods are about fun and reward.

Socialisation is a key aspect too, and we work on that in a controlled way so that whilst your puppy get's to play with others, they still come back to you.

Payment should be made prior to the classes starting, and can be paid by cheque, cash, credit or debit card (credit or debit card payment is on-line, paid securely through Paypal).
